Alex completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University, and is excited to be joining the No Boundaries Health team as a Physiotherapist Resident. While on clinical placements, Alex has had the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and abilities, including competitive athletes, weekend warriors and individuals undergoing total joint replacement. Prior to attending McMaster, Alex earned a degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Rehabilitation Science from Western University.

A competitive figure skater from more than 15 years, Alex continues to stay involved in the sport as a certified professional coach with Skate Canada. Her time as a student-athelete and eventually a physiotherapy patient (including at No Boundaries Health) sparked her interest in the science behind human movement and injury prevention. Alex has a particular interest in helping young athletes with the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal conditions in order to optimize performance.

Alex plans to pursue specialized training in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and well as Neurofunctional Acupuncture. She is interested in the multi-dimensional nature of pain and how different systems within the body interact to affect movement and performance. Alex employs a holistic approach in her practice and is passionate about helping her clients learn, heal and prevent injury.
